Regulations of Nano Dies During Production
1. Prior to installing the Nano die on the die box, it should be carefully inspected, ensure that it is in the center of the die box, to avoid diagonal pull and deviation, and check whether the quality of the previous process is fine.
- Ensure the Nano die absolutely immersed in the cooling water of die box and no water leakage. And ensure the steel wire totally immersed in the drawing lubricants.
- After installation, ensure the wire inlet, Nano die and dawing capstan to be in one straight line.
- After the Nano die is put on the die box, pull it out for one meter, and measure it twice horizontally with a micrometer to see if the actual measurement result is consistent with the mold. Check the surface quality of the steel wire, whether it is scratched, etc.
- Perform inspection on each pass according to Step-4, untill the take up machine.
- During normal production, QC should check the drawing lubricant and cooling water is sufficient in the dix box. And the wire inlet, Nano die and dawing capstan to be in one straight line.
- When replacing the steel bobbin, need to measure the wire diamteter. Replace the Nano die once any damage occured, in case of damage on the other Nano dies.
- Try best to produce the same size of finished wire on one machine, don’t change the drawing process frequently on one machine.
- When any issue occurs at site, first of all, need to check and find the original, then to figure out a solution. Replace the new Nano die at ease without cconsideration of production cost, is not the best way to sovle the problem.
- Choose the high-quality drawing lubricant which is applicable for high speed drawing.
- Accumulate all the old Nano die to one whle set, then replace the whole replaced set at one time, don’t mix the old die with new die.
- 1 If using sand-belt cleaning machine, don’t over-clean thus damage the wire surface.
- Make documents and die replacement records for each machine, count the consumption of dies for each machine, find out the reason for the high die cost of each machine, and calculate the consumption(tons/piece) of Nano die by counting the output of each machine.
- In order to reduce the use of dies, rewards and punishments should be proposed. The machines with low die consumption will be rewarded, and the machines with high die consumption will be punished, and the monthly assessment will be carried out. (It is recommended that the early rewards outweigh the penalties.)
